Artist Statement

My practice explores the relationship between nature, mythology, and feminine energy

through a visual language rooted in cycles of creation, protection, destruction, and rebirth.

Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, I draw on recurring symbols such as water, fish, lotus, turtle, mountains, and village life.

These forms move between the earthly and the mythological, becoming metaphors for origin, resilience, memory, and transformation.

Women remain central to my work as creators, protectors, carriers of memory, and symbols of renewal.

Mythological references such as Matsya and Kurma allow me to connect ancient narratives with contemporary concerns around nature,

survival, and our relationship with the environment.

For me, water is the thread that binds everything together: source, force, protector, and witness.

My work is ultimately a search for beginnings and for the possibility of renewal.
