Artist Statement

I am an abstract artist based in Pune, Maharashtra, born in Jalna in 1977. I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, and have exhibited through solo and group shows across India.

My work is rooted in a deep spiritual connection with nature. Rather than represent the natural world literally, I translate my experiences of it into a visual language one that explores our sense of oneness with the larger universe.

I work with a minimalist vocabulary of abstract forms, vibrant colour, rich textures and considered compositions. Geometry plays an important role in my practice. Circles, triangles, rectangles and lines become a way of creating rhythm, structure and dialogue within each work.

My paintings often exist in conversation with one another, creating a journey through imagined landscapes and inner spaces. Ultimately, I want my work to invite contemplation a place where nature, memory, imagination and reality can quietly coexist.
